Depuis le dernier épisode du podcast, j’ai bien avancé sur mon Verdure shawlette puisqu’il est… fini ! En ce moment même, il est au blocage et il y en a au moins pour la journée, donc normalement, je devrais pouvoir vous le montrer lors du prochain épisode du podcast (le week-end prochain si tout se passe bien).

Since the last episode of the podcast, I made a great progress on my Verdure shawlette because it is… done! It is now in the bathroom for the blocking process. It may take one or two days, so I can tell you that I should be able to show you the shawl on the next episode of the podcast (next weekend if everything goes well).

En attendant, laissez-moi vous montrer les photos des différentes étapes. Il faut que je vous dise que c’est un châle vraiment très beau et super agréable à tricoter sauf que cela prend des heures et des heures pour faire la bordure. C’était la première fois que je tricotais une bordure à l’horizontale et je ne m’imaginais pas que cela demandait autant de temps (le prochain châle construit de cette façon, ce ne sera pas pour tout de suite, il faut le temps que je m’en remette).

Meanwhile, let me show you the photos of the different steps. I have to say it is a beautiful shawl and I enjoyed knitting it a lot but it took hours and hours to knit the lace border. It was the first time I knitted a shawl with that kind of construction and I didn’t imagine it would take so long to knit the border (I will wait a little to knit another shawl with the same border construction).
